THIS WEEKEND: Cultural Campfire & Action Day in the Garden

lozanativegard-14

Join us this Friday July 5th  for a Cultural Campfire discussion about GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) and their continued effects on our eco-system, of which we as humans comprise an active part.

Event begins at 7:30 PM in the Native Plant Garden’s ceremonial space. Bring a mat, blanket or camping chair to sit on the sandy area of the garden. We also invite you join us in potluck style and its zero waste, so please bring your own eating & drinking ware.

Sunday July 7th is Action Day in the Garden!

For those of you who want to be in nature and not  drive for hours, come join us. Mulching, seed harvest, and general maintenance of native plants will be taught.

We invite the public to join us on ACTION DAYS to help maintain the garden. Please wear sensible shoes for the outdoors, a hat, and  gloves, these are suggestions to make the work hours safe for you.

The work day generally begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends early afternoon.

See you there!
