LEARN HOW TO USE KODIAK MUSTARD AS A COVER CROP

Address: 514 Casanova St. 90012
Sunday, February 22, 2015
8a.m. – 2p.m.

Mustard Cover Crop (Brassica junecea)
Join us to remove invasive flora in this garden. We will also be using the cover crop we seeded in December to restore nutrients to the soil, improve drainage and aeration as well. This cover crop has a natural bio-fumigation effect on the soil and helps to control soil borne diseases and suppresses nematode activity.

We will be chopping the mustard plants down so please bring your own clippers. As always we will incorporate a potluck and cultural components to the day.

BYO- eating utensils.

ZERO WASTE – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
