Native Flora Hike/Workshop

TIME:8:30am-12:30pm ADDRESS:4371 MULTNOMAH ST. L.A., CA 90032.

Olivia Chumacero will take you on a hike through the Ascot Hills Park. The land has several thriving floristic environments from a healthy riparian area, to the more drought tolerant flora indicative of our coastal oak, and sage family.  Much of the flora has been re-introduced and is right at home in these rolling hills. Edible, medicinal, and cultural properties of the following plants will be discussed in detail: elderberry, matilija poppy, native grapes, black sage, and California sage brush.

Please pre-register @ PayPal, the session fills up quickly. FEE $35.00.
